Zonta Member Sherry Klinkner Wins Jewelry Award
Sherry is a member of the Madison Art Guild, a juried Art Guild established over 100 years ago. Each year MAG artists put on a two month gallery showing at UW Hospital. An independent judge reviews the art submission and awards artists according to various categories. This year Zontian and MAG co-president won first place in her category of jewelry and metals. Her piece is called Point of View. It is completely hand beaded.

Congratulations to Zonta Club of Madison member Tamara Hagen, M.D. Zonta District 6 Governor
The fellow Zonta members of District 6, representing Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, elected Tamara Hagen M.D. to serve as their Governor for the biennium of 2016-2017. Tamara was installed as Governor at the 63rd Zonta International Convention held in Nice, France in July 2016. Tamara has been a member of Zonta International since 1987 and a member of the Zonta Club of Madison since 2002.

Kia Kellie Stearn

Positive Women for Change
Kia Stearn is the founder of Positive Women for Change (PW4C) which responds to the needs of individuals who have suffered traumatic circumstances resulting in the disarray of personal and household finances. Especially focusing on outreach to underserved women, Kia has designed a peer coaching curriculum that fosters positive behavior change, helping her clients successfully budget and manage cash flow on a limited income and to engage more fully with their community.
Wisconsin Women in Government (WWIG) awarded Zonta member Katherine Dellenbach the 2016 Rising Star award at the Wisconsin Women in Government29th Annual Scholarship and Recognition Gala on April 14, 2016. The Rising Star Award honors a woman who has been in her profession for 10 years or less, but has demonstrated excellence by making an extraordinary impact in her profession relative to her years of service.
Katherine (Kat) Dellenbach, is a Field Service Director and Administrative Policy Advisor at the Office of the State Public Defender. As President and Board member of Wisconsin Women’s Network, Katherine started a mentorship program connecting college women with mid-career professionals, including women in government and established and maintained the Wisconsin Women's Policy institute.
Zonta member and Zonta Club of Madison President Nancy McCulley was named Wisconsin Toastmaster of the Year at the Wisconsin District 35Spring Convention on May 7, 2016.Nancy served as Central Division Director for District 35, over 22 Toastmasters clubs representing 40 members in Southcentral Wisconsin. Nancy is an Assistant Booking Coordinator at Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center.
